The latest AA podcast episode reflects back on an eventful Week 18 for the Chiefs.
Week 18 was technically a meaningless game for both the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs were largely resting their starters as they looked beyond their AFC West rivals toward the postseason. Meanwhile, the Chargers were likely more concerned with the looming search for a new head coach and general manager once the season was over.
Yet that didn't mean the season finale for both teams was void of real meaning for those involved. For young players who'd not yet had a chance for solid playing time, it was a chance to showcase what they could do if trusted more by the coaches. It was also a time for Travis Kelce to make a team-first decision and for Chris Jones to chase the bag.
Join Matt Conner & Sterling Holmes for a look back at the young players who took advantage of rare playing time in Week 18, the nobility of Travis Kelce, and an oddly ironic scenario with Chris Jones. We also discuss the latest injuries to both the Chiefs and Dolphins as we begin to preview the Wild Card round against the Dolphins.
