As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, prepare to welcome the Cleveland Browns to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, the team is facing a number of significant questions as the preseason winds to a close. While that's true for every team in an age of parity, it's a bit unnerving since some of these issues are self-inflicted.
Questions concerning Chris Jones's holdout and/or his availability for the regular season have frustrate fans to no end after watching him sit out of training camp in its entirety. Jones has still not reported back with less than two weeks to go until the Chiefs host the Detroit Lions in their opening game that kicks off the NFL's regular season.
Beyond that, L'Jarius Sneed, the second-most important defensive player, remains out with a swollen knee. The team's cap space is all tied up but there are major needs along the defensive line that could use some external help. And not every roster battle is easily broken down, which makes this third game against the Browns in the preseason an important one at multiple positions, including tackle, running back, quarterback and more.
Fortunately, we're here to help provide some answers to preseason questions around the Chiefs. Join Arrowhead Addict host Patrick Allen and special guest Matt Verderame of Sports Illustrated as they answer some of the biggest questions fans want to know ahead of the Chiefs' final preseason game against the Browns.
