17. Green Bay Packers (6-7)

Last Week: 17 (-)

The Packers looked like they were on their way to yet another victory this week, but managed to lose to Tommy DeVito and the New York (barely) football Giants. I don't know. I was lukewarm on the Packers until they beat Kansas City and now I'm wondering if the Chiefs just aren't very good.

18. Los Angeles Rams (6-7)

Last Week: 18 (-)

The Rams could not quite come away with the overtime victory against the top-notch Ravens. The Rams have fight in them, but their chances are slipping from their fingers. It's likely a win out or miss the playoffs situation in L.A.

19. New Orleans Saints (6-7)

Last Week: 22 (+3)

Yay! Beating the Panthers does count as a win! In all seriousness, the Saints and the Buccaneers are in a dogfight to see which of them lucks into an unearned playoff spot. I am leaning toward the Saints, but it is a close fight of sincere mediocrity.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7)

Last Week: 23 (+3)

The Bucs defeated the Falcons on a late touchdown from Baker Mayfield to Cade Otton. No one is seriously buying the Buccaneers as a team that could truly compete in the playoffs. I expect that playoffs or no playoffs, this roster looks COMPLETELY different next season.

21. Atlanta Falcons (6-7)

Last Week: 21 (-)

Tampa Bay got the better of the Falcons this week. Yet again, the Falcons look like they need some pieces, and yet again, they look like they got outcoached. I'm not saying that the Falcons would be great with another, functional head coach. I am saying that they could be better.

22. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6)

Last Week: 13 (-9)

Pittsburgh should be in panic mode. Losing to the Cardinals and Patriots in back-to-back weeks is enough to declare a team unfit for the playoffs. Mike Tomlin is a winner and they could still find a way into the dance. They are, however, a bad football team. Let's not sugarcoat it.

23. Las Vegas Raiders (5-8)

Last Week: 19 (-4)

The Raiders went from smoking cigars after beating the Jets and Raiders to then losing badly to the Chiefs, to now losing 3-0 to the Minnesota Vikings. The Raiders are still comically bad, even if they do have a couple of the NFL's best players on the roster.

24. Washington Commanders (4-9)

Last Week: 24 (-)
