Let's look at an updated 2024 NFL Draft order.
With only one week of the regular season left, fans of many NFL franchises are dialing in their draft simulations and projections with even more clarity these days hoping to see where their favorite teams will be selecting when the 2024 NFL Draft arrives.
Each year, the NFL's first-year player draft is a must-see event due to the drama and intrigue of where specific players might go and how teams utilize the three-day event to improve their fortunes and solidify their futures. With only Week 18 on the books left in 2023, these franchises are now getting an accurate picture of where they'll be selecting and which teams will be around them.
For the Kansas City Chiefs, there's a lot of unfinished business to consider before thinking too much about the draft, but that's what your personnel department is for and the Chiefs have guys in the front office responsible for covering the future while others stay focused on the present.
From our present vantage point, the Chiefs will be making their picks at No. 25 if things hold as they are now. That's seven steps in front of where they picked last year, so it will be interesting to see if it's easier for general manager Brett Veach to trade from that starting role.
