NFL announces 13 prospects will attend 2024 NFL Draft in person
By Matt Conner
The 2024 NFL Draft is only two weeks away and the National Football League announced the list of players set to be in attendance at the three-day event with the hopes of hearing their name called early on Thursday evening in the first round.
This year, only 13 players will be in attendance at the festivities—held in Detroit, Michigan for the first time this spring.
Sometimes the list of players in attendance can provide a bit of a "tell" on how that prospect is viewed in the eyes of NFL teams, and there are some surprises here on the list. Some big-time players aren't listed among those as going—such as offensive lineman Joe Alt or edge rusher Jared Verse—while some other lesser-heralded guys are on the list.
The Kansas City Chiefs aren't selecting until No. 32 overall without a trade up the draft board, but they've been linked to Missouri defensive lineman Darius Robinson in various mock drafts. His inclusion here on this list makes it seem like he might be gone far before the Chiefs are up, however.
Caleb Williams, believed to be the first overall selection by the Chicago Bears, will be in attendance. So will other top quarterbacks like Jayden Daniels of LSU and Drake Maye of North Carolina.
