Netflix finds a way to highlight another Chiefs Super Bowl victory

When it comes to naming new shows on Netflix, the bar is set quite low.
Last year, it was Quarterback. This year, it is Receiver. Either way, we're thrilled because the newest sports docu-series announced by Netflix will feature the Kansas City Chiefs winning another Super Bowl—just like last year.
A new series isn't exactly focused on the Chiefs championship but we'll take what we can get.
On Wednesday, the popular streaming service announced its newest show, Receiver, and the rundown of central subjects who will be featured. And for the second year in a row, we're bound to see the Chiefs hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in at least one episode. We love to relive it all!
The list of receivers being covered actually includes 4 wideouts and 1 tight end: Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams, San Francisco 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle, and Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson.
Given that we already know the outcome of last season and the centrality of having two 49ers players on the roster, it's clear we'll get a good dose of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs even if the cameras aren't telling their story in a primary sense.
Last year, of course, we saw the debut of Quarterback and its focus on Mahomes, Marcus Mariota, and Kirk Cousins. The series was a major hit for Netflix.
In time, we can only hope to eventually see the likes of Long Snapper with a close look at James Winchester.
