It's nice having Aaron Donald out of the way even in digital form.

The official ratings for Madden '25 are slowly leaking out and the marks for the top defensive tackles in the game were made known this week. While it shouldn't come as a surprise given his supremacy at the position and his claim to being the highest-paid defensive tackle in the game, it's still nice for Chiefs Kingdom to see Chris Jones at the top.

Jones is not quite a 99, but few players are these days. Instead Jones came in at 97 overall which should still make him every bit the game wrecker in video game form.

Here's a look at the top defensive tackles in this year's Madden franchise:

Interestingly, according to Madden at least, teams who were interested in reshaping the defensive tackle position had a golden opportunity this offseason. Not only did Chris Jones have a contract expire but several other top names in the business were also free agents including Justin Madubuike, Christian Wilkins, D.J. Reader, Grover Stewart and more.

The Chiefs signed Jones to a new five-year extension with $95 million in guaranteed money. That was the reward for anchoring the team's pass rush in consecutive Super Bowl runs and elevating his game to become the best active interior lineman in the NFL. Last season, Jones was named a first-team All-Pro and had 10.5 sacks and 4 pass deflections for the Chiefs.

No further insights were given into the actual makeup of the player profile, but for those who are wanting to play as the Chiefs in Madden '25, you should be heartened to know the roster should be quite balanced between its historic players on offense and superstar defenders like Chris Jones on defense.
