The contract year is undefeated, as the great Terez A. Paylor used to write, and L'Jarius Sneed is putting up an incredible season in his last one under contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. After a stellar regular season in which he proved he could be a lockdown corner with the best of them, he's continuing to handle the game's biggest offensive stars in the postseason.

Sneed has drawn some tough assignments in the past year, and he's even faced Tyreek Hill once already when the Chiefs and Miami Dolphins met up in Frankfurt, Germany in Week 9. On Saturday night, Sneed was once again tasked with shutting down Hill, one of the NFL's truly great receivers.

Shortly before halftime, Sneed and Hill were locked up on a play that was largely overlooked because it was on the opposite side of the field from the ball. But check out this recording of Sneed basically bodying Hill on the play.

Despite the play being away from the center of action, it didn't take long for social media to do what it does best and amplify things others might have missed. Suddenly everyone was talking about Sneed's dominance here.

You get the picture.

Now, there's no way to stop Tyreek Hill from getting the bag every once in a while. The man is arguably the best wide receiver in football, and Chiefs Kingdom has six sweet seasons worth of memories to prove it. Hill is a future Hall of Fame player who remains an elite weapon for the Dolphins, so no one will deny that. Even in this game he's already scored his team's only touchdown with a nice downfield catch and run in the first half.

Still, Sneed has been doing this to star receivers all season long—from A.J. Brown to Ja'Marr Chase and so many in between. It's not surprising to see him do it again when the lights are brightest and the games matter most.
