The National Football League announced the upcoming dates and plans for its annual Front Office & General Manager Accelerator Program on Thursday and things start soon for participants. The event gets underway as soon as next week and will run from December 11-13.

The NFL has been pushing for greater diversity and inclusive measures at all levels of leadership, and the creation of the Front Office Accelerator was a way to ensure executives and staff members working behind the scenes in front offices around the league had a chance to grow professionally, build strong personal networks, and get some important face-to-face time with the ultimate decision-makers around the league.

This will be the fourth time the NFL has put on the Front Office Accelerator program.

Tim Terry will be the only member from the Chiefs organization attending this year's event.

The NFL provided a list of every candidate attending the event and some teams are sending multiple attendees. For the Kansas City Chiefs, it will be a solo trip for Tim Terry who serves as the Chiefs Director of Player Personnel/Pro Scouting alongside general manager Brett Veach in the team's front office.

It's also interesting to note a few former NFL players are also attending in hopes of furthering their football careers off of the field including former cornerback Eric Stokes (now with Washington), Malik Boyd (now with Buffalo), and safety Adrian Wilson (now with Carolina). nbnbn
