Chamarri Conner, DB (119th overall)

Believe it or not, safety Chamarri Conner is second on the Chiefs in total snaps by a rookie. Granted, he's logged only 58 defensive snaps, but he's been a regular on special teams.

He's played well in limited action on defense. According to Pro Football Focus, he's lined up at slot corner 31 times and 20 times in the box. Conner played everywhere at Virginia Tech, but his 4.51 40-time questioned his ability to play slot cornerback in the NFL on a regular basis. Thus far, that doesn't appear to be the case.

Since the Chiefs already had Justin Reid, Bryan Cook, and Mike Edwards on the roster, Conner was never intended to be a regular piece on defense. But given how well he's played in limited time, he's definitely earning a spot in next year's safety rotation.
