Born on November 22, 1982, Johnson played college football at the University of Texas, where he showcased his exceptional skills as a linebacker. His talent did not go unnoticed, and in 2005, the Chiefs drafted him in the first round, making him the 15th overall pick.
From the moment Johnson stepped onto the field in Kansas City, he made an immediate impact. His speed, agility, and football IQ were unmatched, allowing him to quickly become a cornerstone of the Chiefs' defense. DJ's ability to read plays, diagnose offenses, and make lightning-fast tackles earned him widespread respect and admiration from teammates, coaches, and fans alike.
