KC Chiefs fans get engaged at Frankfurt game and their love will last forever
By Matt Conner
We love love, which means we really love what we saw from the sidelines of the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9.
Two members of Chiefs Kingdom—or at least we assume they are fans due to the jerseys they are wearing—were able to affirm their love and commitment to each other while watching their favorite franchise in Frankfurt, Germany.
We have every reason to believe this relationship will last forever, like something from The Notebook.
First, both fans are in fine form. The kneel and reveal. The hand-over-mouth emotional response. They both look truly happy and excited and we feel our own hearts swell with emotion just watching them. Few things are more meaningful than love shared.
Second, the jersey selection here is top-notch. Patrick Mahomes is a must, of course, but here is a future husband who balances her out perfectly with George Karlaftis. It's offense and defense. It's avoiding sacks and adding them up. It's an expensive contract and a rookie deal. That chemistry will work well for the long term.
Third, look at the lengths that others went to help them. She has headphones on so she can hear his proposal even amid the stadium noise. KC Wolf is close by for the immediate hug. They're the sort of couple with a gravity so strong that we're all drawn in.
As long as she doesn't channel her Petty Mahomes and as long as he's more Greek than Freak, we think these two will stay together forever. Congratulations, you two!
