Given their status as the defending Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs have been officially invited to join the President of the United States, Joe Biden, and others to celebrate the achievement and commemorate the occasion.

If that trip sounds like a familiar one for the Chiefs, it is.

The Chiefs are regular guests at the White House these days.

For the second year in a row, the Chiefs will be taking the trip to Washington D.C. in order to hang out at the White House—an honor typically given to the champions of major sports leagues.

The Chiefs were also invited when Patrick Mahomes and company won their first Super Bowl title together, but the Chiefs didn't make the trip due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Given the frequency at which the Chiefs have dominated their competition in recent years and the fact that they're favorites once again in 2024, we can only assume that, at some point, someone will just give Andy Reid his own key to the place.

This year the Chiefs will make their White House appearance on Friday, May 31.
