The San Francisco 49ers watched a key player on the offensive side go down with an injury with the fourth quarter coming into view. Starting right guard Jon Feliciano was being treated for an injury late in the third quarter of Super Bowl LVIII against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Feliciano went down with 2:28 to play in the quarter on a 1st-and-10 play as Brock Purdy attempted to complete a pass to Brandon Aiyuk. Feliciano went into the blue sideline tent for further attention from the 49ers training staff.

Feliciano was replaced by Spencer Burford along the offensive line.

Feliciano was the fourth-round pick of the Oakland Raiders back in the 2015 NFL Draft and has played for a number of teams in the last decade or so. After years with the Raiders and Bills, he signed with the 49ers this offseason and started 7 games at the position this season. He's played in 113 total games in his 9-year NFL career.
