Isaiah Likely's prediction after loss to Chiefs is already being proved laughably wrong

Yeah, about that "worst game" thing.

As it turns out, Isaiah Likely was wrong.

The Baltimore Ravens tight end is a younger player, so it makes sense that he hasn't earned a deep well of experience from which to draw his conclusions. Thus, he should be forgiven for incorrectly stating a few things following the team's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.

For the sake of review, Likely and the Ravens lost their season-opening game to the Chiefs in primetime and were quite salty after the fact. Many players refused to give the Chiefs credit or blamed the refs for various things. As for Likely, he warned the Chiefs about any future meetings and sounded ready to dismiss their losing efforts in Week 1.

"This is probably the worst game we're gonna play all year, so if this is the best that they got, good luck in the postseason," said Likely.

Yeah, about that "worst game" thing.

As it turns out, the Ravens not only had even worse football in them but they were ready to show it off just 10 days later. After receiving a mini-bye of sorts after starting the year on a Thursday night, the Ravens played host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2 and found themselves on the losing end once again. Yes, an 0-2 start for the AFC's No. 1 seed a year ago after losing to... Gardner Minshew?

We're sure the Raiders deserve credit here for something and maybe the Chiefs will see they're tougher than expected when they play them later this year. But we also can't help but chuckle at the fact that the Ravens had another loss in them to a team predicted to live in the AFC West basement just one week after making so much noise a week before.
