How to listen to Bengals vs. Chiefs NFL Week 2 game on the radio
By Matt Conner
Few teams have been able to keep up with the Kansas City Chiefs since Patrick Mahomes took over as starting quarterback like the Cincinnati Bengals. That's not to say that the Bengals own the Chiefs by any means, nor that they wouldn't love to trade places with K.C. given their tremendous run of success. But given that most teams lose to the Chiefs week-in and week-out, the challenge provided by the Bengals in recent years has made these matchups into must-watch contests.
This year, the Chiefs and Bengals are meeting in an early-season matchup, a rare September thriller that's generally been saved for much later on the calendar. This early date has ensured that most of the star players involved are healthy and that viewers or listeners will take in Joe Burrow versus Patrick Mahomes once again.
The downside for the Bengals is that they're already 0-1 after losing in Week 1 to the New England Patriots and might be without Tee Higgins when trying to overcome a stout Chiefs defense. On the flip side, the Bengals had all kinds of tackling issues in Week 1 and now must figure out how to stop the multi-faceted attack of the Chiefs with some exciting new talent on the roster.
These teams are among the few expected to still be playing well into January so whoever wins this game will own a nice edge when it comes to playoff positioning.
