CBS Sports Mock Draft

The Pick: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

Our Grade: B

Our reaction: Guyton has been a riser throughout the end of the college football season. He will be added to the AA Big Board in the coming weeks as well. At 6'7", 327lbs., lots of what was said about length and size is true for Guyton, too.

The Chiefs have shown an affinity for Oklahoma offensive linemen (Creed Humphrey, Wanya Morris, and Orlando Brown) in the past. Speaking of Brown, there are some similarities between him and Guyton. Both have large powerful frames that allow them to win regularly with strength. Guyton excels in run blocking but can but susceptible to speed rushers.

Guyton would make lots of sense for K.C. especially because Wanya Morris hasn't looked like the long-term answer at LT. Guyton is another chapter in the story that is a very deep tackle class. The only reason why we have Guyton graded lower than Paul is the position they play. Guyton has played right tackle while Paul has experience at left. There's also a huge disparity in their PFF grades, Paul is rated one of the top tackles in the country while Guyton sits at 167th.
