We take a closer look at how each draft pick could impact their specific roster spot and, more specifically, who could be on the chopping block for the Chiefs.

2. Kadarius Toney, Wide Receiver
Kadarius Toney was a trainwreck a year ago. Whether it be costly drops that turned into ridiculous interceptions or lining up offsides, there is a case to be made that Toney COST the Chiefs some games.
Toney's talent with the ball in his hands is clear, but can he take the next step as a receiver? Will someone take over for him? Brett Veach declined Toney's fifth-year option already and the ice is only going to get thinner from here.
The Chiefs remain in Toney's corner publicly, in part due to the incredible talent he possesses, but there is, in my view, a clear path to Toney's departure this offseason. If not an outright release, could we see Toney end up on the IR once again due to mounting injury concerns? Time will tell.
