Five Chiefs players who helped their stock against the Cardinals
How seriously should the Chiefs really take any of the results from Saturday's win over the Cardinals?

Blaine Gabbert
Not to be outdone by Shane Buechele, Blaine Gabbert came into the game in the second half and immediately looked as productive as his fellow quarterbacks (if not more). Gabbert threw only 8 passes, but he completed 7 of them and 2 of those tosses went for touchdowns. By night's end, he had 120 passing yards and a perfect passer rating.
As mentioned before, Gabbert's contract doesn't guarantee him a thing which means this is a fight to the finish. It might come down to keeping both or maybe Andy Reid's predilection for experienced arms might give Gabbert the break even as Buechele is doing his best.
What should be noted here is that whoever wins that QB2 spot for the Chiefs is going to have earned it this preseason. Competition should bring out the best in an athlete and that's exactly what's happening at the quarterback spot on the Chiefs depth chart.
