Everything you need to know about the 2024 NFL Draft Experience

One year after Kansas Citians enjoyed the excitement of the National Football League's traveling spring circus—otherwise known as the 2023 NFL Draft—the family-friendly festivities (try saying that three times fast) are coming to Detroit, Michigan for the 2024 edition.

The arrival of the NFL Draft brings millions of dollars in economic investment to a region, which is why metro areas submit proposals years in advance for the opportunity to host the three-day event in late April.

Last year in Kansas City, it was estimated that 312,000 persons came to the region to attend the event, which brings millions of dollars to local hotels, restaurants, bars, and other retail establishments. Downtown Nashville reportedly had nearly 600K visitors back in 2019. It's a huge local boost for whoever gets to host it.

The reason the draft has such a big impact is because it's such a popular and fun event to attend. It's filled with something for everyone, including those who love and respect NFL history with traveling exhibits where fans can see Hall of Fame artifacts and a Lombardi Trophy. However, it's also great for kids with lots of interactive exhibits and programs.

When is the NFL Draft Experience?

The official dates for the NFL Draft Experience in Detroit begin on Thursday, April 25 and run through Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Where is the 2024 NFL Draft Experience located?

Detroit's distinct culture in music, art, food, and style will be showcased throughout the event. Hart Plaza is the main location for Draft Experience activations, exhibits, player appearances, and sponsor experiences. Meanwhile, Corner Ballpark will host youth-focused activities such as NFL FLAG skills and drills, and football clinics.

How much does it cost to attend 2024 NFL Draft Experience?

Entry is free for all fans, but registration is required. To register, fans can download the NFL OnePass app or visit NFL.com/DraftAccess. Adults must register, and they can also register up to five children. Fans without smartphones can register on-site with Fan Services staff.
