Early 53-man roster predictions for the Kansas City Chiefs after the 2024 NFL Draft
With the rookie class figured out, let's take a way-too-early look at what the 53-man roster could resemble.

SPECIALISTS
Players: James Winchester Harrison Butker, Matt Araiza
After losing Tommy Townsend, it's possible the Chiefs could have brought in competition at punter to shake up the specialists, but Matt Araiza is the new signing and despite his inexperience with the team, he's got things locked down. That being the case, there's no reason to use another roster spot on a second punter so we got with the three as expected here.
PRACTICE SQUAD
The Chiefs have up to 16 players to put on the practice squad. Here's our guess for most of those spots:
- Chris Okadokun, QB
- Deneric Prince, RB
- Cole Christiansen, LB
- Ekow Boye-Doe, DB
- C.J. Hanson, OL
- Truman Jones, DL
- Matt Dickerson , DL
- Deon Bush, S
- Nikko Remigio, WR
- Izaiah Gathings, TE
- Louis Rees-Zammit, RB
- Justyn Ross, WR
- Tyree GIllespie, S
- Christian Roland-Wallace, DB
