Against all odds, the Kansas City Chiefs are headed back to the Super Bowl, their fourth appearance in five years. It's the first Super Bowl appearance for Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill, who spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Tranquill has been an excellent addition to the Chiefs defense this season, filling in admirably while Nick Bolton was out due to an injury. He's been a fun player to follow on social media as well and recently let Chiefs fans in on a recent text exchange that he had with Andy Reid.

In the text, Reid tells Tranquill to "see Red and think Super Bowls" and follows it up with a wink emoji.

Andy Reid: "See Red and think Super Bowls"

Chiefs fans don't get to see this side of Reid all that often, so it's fun to have an inside look at how Big Red texts with his players. It's also fun to know that he uses emojis. I thought Reid might be more of a type out the actual punctuation to make a winky face kind of guy but I guess I should have given him more credit than that.

One thing is for sure though and it's that Kansas City and Chiefs fans everywhere will be seeing red and thinking of Super Bowls for as long as Reid is coaching the team.
