Did Rob Gronkowski swallow a highlighter at halftime?

The halftime report of Chiefs vs. Patriots left us concerned for Rob Gronkowski—for multiple reasons.

The good news? The Kansas City Chiefs took a 14-10 lead into halftime against the New England Patriots, the offense has looked as good as it's looked in weeks, and the defense has been dominant at times on Sunday. All good things.

The concern? Something appears to be very wrong with former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. There are at least some red—er, yellow?—flags popping up on the halftime report. No, I'm not talking about him claiming that Bill Belichick has had the antidote for the Mahomes' offense while Mahomes has averaged just short of 30 points per game against the Pats in his career.

I'm talking about physical evidence that Gronk may be sick, or mutating, or something.

The highlighter theory appears to be the safest, considering he's sitting in a studio where he just finished up frantically highlighting notes in prep for his contribution to the FOX halftime report. But is Gronk really a notes guy, you think? My other theories included him raw dogging some yellow pre-workout or creatine in prep for the segment, or perhaps a health issue. Could it be jaundice?

We'll keep our finger on the pulse of this developing story and give you updates as they come to us.
