Two years ago, the Kansas City Chiefs signed Deon Bush after he had spent six years with the Chicago Bears. On that same day that Bush signed with the Chiefs, the team had shipped Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, and the fan base, for the most part, was not happy.

Bush had originally tweeted "What's up Chiefs Kingdom!!" and received responses pretty much insinuating that the fan base wasn't in a good mood due to the Hill trade. He then walked it back with a hilarious "My bad y'all, I'll hit y'all back later"

Well, we've reached the later part of Bush's original tweet. The safety re-signed with the Chiefs and dropped another "What's up Chiefs Kingdom!", this time with a laughing emoji and a fingers crossed emoji.

Deon Bush had a hilarious reaction after re-signing

Bush was a fourth-round pick by the Bears in 2016 and played six years in Chicago. He joined the Chiefs in 2022 and has mostly been a depth piece during his time in Kansas City and now has two Super Bowl rings.

While Bush re-signing didn't excite people one way or another, this moment made people laugh. Hill getting traded was tough for the fan base but the Chiefs have won back-to-back Super Bowls without him and shown that they were capable of winning without him all along.

Props to Deon Bush for waiting nearly two years to make this joke.
