Zay Flowers has had an incredible season for the Balitmore Ravens as a highly productive rookie receiver who came right into the NFL and proved the draft buzz was spot-on. That said, he's still making freshman mistakes even into the postseason and it's presently costing not only him but his team as well.

As the Ravens are hosting the Kansas City Chiefs, they're currently down 10 points in the fourth quarter and just came away with perhaps their best chance at gaining ground getting stymied right at the goal line—and it was all Flowers' fault.

The Ravens came into the fourth quarter down 17-7 to the Chiefs when Flowers came up with a huge 54-yard gain on a deep throw from quarterback Lamar Jackson. It was easily the biggest play of the day for the Ravens and, just like that, the Ravens looked like they had some real momentum. Then came the not-so-good part for Flowers.

First, Flowers was called for a 15-yard taunting penalty because he apparently didn't realize (or forgot) that you're not allowed to do this.

From there, Flowers was hoping to redeem himself when he caught a short pass from Jackson near the goal line. When trying to stretch himself out, however, for a touchdown, up came Chiefs corner L'Jarius Sneed to force a fumble right before he crossed the plane of the goal line.

As if that wasn't enough—to lose yardage and then cost them the entire drive, Flowers came to the sidelines and punched something in frustration. The end result was a lacerated hand that required some medical attention.

Yeah that's a forgettable sequence right there, and we're pretty sure Flowers would love to have a lot of that back.
