Chiefs vs Ravens inactives: Who is in and out for the AFC Championship?

The Kansas City Chiefs aren't at full strength by any means as they travel on Sunday to take on the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game for a chance at another Super Bowl appearance. That said, it's hard to find any NFL team that's not depleted to some degree at this point in the calendar.

The Ravens are hosting the Chiefs for the chance to win the AFC for the 2023 season and advance to take on either the Detroit Lions or San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, held in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in two more weeks.

As for the Chiefs, several of the team's inactive players are already known because Kansas City came into the game with multiple players already designated as "out". From offensive linemen like starting left guard Joe Thuney or swing tackle Prince Tega Wanogho to wide receivers Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney, the Chiefs can fill up the majority of their inactive list just from those names alone.

Coming into the game, the Ravens also had some concerns of their own as to who would be able to take the field or not. Tight end Mark Andrews looked ready but he'd missed most of the season after being placed on injured reserve. In addition, cornerbacks like Marlon Humphrey and Rock Ya-Sin were officially listed as "questionable" coming into the game.

The Chiefs are hoping for positive pre-game news on the likes of linebacker Willie Gay Jr., who has been dealing with a neck injury, and safety Mike Edwards who has a concussion. In addition, running back Isiah Pacheco is also dealing with toe and ankle injuries that have limited him in practice this week.
