For the last week, it looked as if Jayden Reed was going to need some time to recuperate. As it turns out, the Green Bay Packers might have their prized rookie wide receiver after all.

The Packers are getting ready to host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in a primetime affair that will allow a national audience to see the legitimacy of Jordan Love and company for themselves against a major test. Given Reed's recent status in practice, the Packers were crossing their fingers hoping Reed could somehow be ready.

Earlier this week, it was made known that Reed suffered some sort of chest injury in the Packers' game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. While Reed was able to play through it, he sat out practice for most of this week before finally participating in a limited capacity in the team's final practice on Friday.

The Packers' most dependable wide receiver is questionable on the team's injury report.

Reed came into the week with an official injury designation of "questionable."

Reed was the second-round pick of the Packers in this year's NFL Draft at No. 50 overall out of Western Michigan. He's been a major surprise from this rookie class for Green Bay by ascending the depth chart to become arguably the team's most reliable receiver this season. (Sound familiar?)

Through 11 games so far in his NFL career, Reed has 36 catches for 497 yards and 5 touchdowns.
