The Kansas City Chiefs are visiting Lambeau Field for the first time since Patrick Mahomes took over as the starting quarterback. It's a historic venue for a clash of young quarterbacks as Mahomes faces Jordan Love in his first full year under center for the Green Bay Packers.

How will the Chiefs handle Rashan Gary and the Packers' defensive front? Can Jordan Love keep up the momentum of the last few weeks? Can the Chiefs remain effective on both sides of the ball after putting up an impressive win in Las Vegas a week ago?

Let's look at what our writers are predicting for Week 13 between the Chiefs and the Packers.

Sunday's win reminded me of the beginning of other win streaks towards the end of the year that the Chiefs have gone on in recent seasons. Patrick Mahomes is excited to play in Lambeau for the first time and I expect more of the same as last week from the offense. The Pack will not lay down though and Jordan Love is no slouch.

The Packers have shown some nice signs of life, Jordan Love is going to have a few throws that impress no doubt. I expect the Chiefs' defense to limit the Packers' offense somewhat effectively. The Packers' offensive line hasn't faced a pass rush like the Chiefs all year. While the Packers' defense does rank fairly high lots of that is schedule-driven. While this game could be sneaky hard I think the Chiefs know how to win these games and their defense is the best unit in this game.

The Chiefs know they can own their fate if they follow through and it's hard to imagine Jordan Love and a middling Packers roster getting in the way here. The offensive corps found their footing last week against the Raiders, while the defense is chugging along. It's just hard to imagine any other scenario than a Chiefs 9th win.

The Chiefs offense may have finally found its footing by shortening the rotation and getting the right guys the ball. I see another big performance from Rashee Rice in this one as he grows into the role of Chiefs WR1 as Kansas City rolls to another double-digit win.

This week the Chiefs travel to historic Lambeau Field to take on the Packers in a Sunday Night Football game. Kansas City’s offense showed flashes of years past last week and the Packers defense showed they are a force to be reckoned with. This game will be close, but I can’t count out Showtime Mahomes in prime time. Chiefs win with a late touchdown from rookie sensation Rashee Rice.

The Packers have a solid defense and Jordan Love has started looking more and more comfortable and like a real long-term solution at QB recently. Still, I like Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs defense a little more. I think it will be close, but the Chiefs pull out a close one.

The offense has finally turned a corner and the defense matches up well against a run game that is facing injury problems with the Packers. The defense will give Jordan Love a rough night - his mother will wish they had seats a lot higher up (like they did in Arrowhead) given how many times he hits the ground. This ends up being a boring game with the Chiefs victorious.

The Green Bay Packers are far better than I expected this year. Jordan Love has looked like a starting NFL quarterback for much of the season with the league's youngest receiving corps around him. That inexperience will be their downfall against Kansas City's defense. A December Sunday night matchup in Lambeau is no joke, but the Chiefs should win a low-scoring affair.

Let's go storyline hunting here, shall we? Are we prepping for Love vs. Mahomes I, the battle of the two best tailgate fanbases in the NFL, or a rematch of Super Bowl 1? Maybe Andy Reid has some grudge left in him from where his NFL days started under Mike Holmgren. None of the above. Much to the chagrin (I'm sure) of my friends over at Green Bay Chat, this is the MVS revenge game, and the (recently) much-maligned current Chief/former Packer is going to break out in a big way against his former squad propelling the Chiefs to another big offensive performance.

The Kansas City Chiefs make a trek to the Upper Midwest for a Sunday night affair with the Green Bay Packers. Kansas City is healthy going into the game and came off their best offensive game in several weeks. I have concerns the Chiefs may slip back into some familiar offensive patterns versus a solid Packers defense. This game is likely to be closer than anyone expects through three quarters. Ultimately, the Chiefs will pull away on the back of another big Isiah Pacheco game.

The Packers have significant talent on offense, but it's mostly youth. Steve Spagnuolo should be able to have his way with Jordan Love, but I don't expect him to shut them down. The Chiefs should come out victorious in this game as the Packers are nowhere near as good as them.

Looking forward to Patrick Mahomes' first-ever trip to the Frozen Tundra. Weather is calling for some wintry conditions and I will predict it holds true that Mahomes is “a snow guy.” I’m predicting Trent McDuffie gets his first career pick and Mahomes throws 3 TDs.
