The Kansas City Chiefs have bounced back in a big way after losing on NFL Opening Night, winning their next two games by a combined score of 58-19.

Now, they have another favorable matchup on Sunday Night Football when they head to the East Coast to take on the New York Jets.

Chiefs vs. Jets key players to watch

Kansas City Chiefs

Rashee Rice: Travis Kelce leads the Chiefs in receptions this season with 11, but it's Rashee Rice who's second in both receptions (10) and targets (14). He may just end up being the No. 2 offensive weapon for Mahomes behind his star tight end. Let's see if that keeps up in Week 4 against the Jets.

New York Jets

Quincy Williams: If the Jets want any chance of keeping this game close, their defense needs to step up in a big way. That starts and ends with Quincy Williams, who has been fantastic this season, racking up 23 solo tackles, the second most in the NFL, along with two tackles for a loss and two pass deflections. Williams needs to have a big game in order to slow down Mahomes and company.

Chiefs vs. Jets prediction and pick

The Chiefs are quietly sporting one of the very best defenses in the NFL through the first three weeks. They rank fifth in the NFL in opponent yards per play, allowing an average of just 4.6 yards per snap.

Now, this game goes from what was supposed to be an offensive shootout between Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers, into a defensive showdown. We know the Jets defense is elite and we also know they have little to no offense with Zach Wilson at the quarterback.

Sure, the Chiefs may win and cover with ease, but the New York defense gives me pause to lay 9.5-points on the defending champs. Instead, I think the bet to make is the UNDER.

Even if the Chiefs win in a blowout, the Jets may struggle to contribute any points to this total.
