Chiefs vs. Cardinals prediction and odds for NFL preseason Week 2

The Kansas City Chiefs return to the site of their Super Bowl victory as they take on the Cardinals in Arizona this week. Kansas City threw a late interception in Preseason Week 1 to fall just shy to the Saints, while the Cardinals pulled off narrow victory over the Broncos.
Both teams will be content to make it through this matchup without injury, but there's still one bet with value I'm eyeing.
This will likely be our most extended look at the Chiefs' first-team offense until that Sept. 7 Week 1 matchup with the Lions, so let's take advantage of it.

Chiefs vs. Cardinals Odds, Spread and Total
The Chiefs are the biggest favorite on the board this week despite an uninspired effort against the New Orleans Saints. Given the infamous field conditions and the preseason's lack of significance, I don't expect the Chiefs to put their foot on the gas.
Nonetheless, as I explained in my full preview on KC Kingdom, there's one bet available at FanDuel that has value: I'm backing the Chiefs to win by 1-13 points at +140 odds.
Kansas City is a -325 favorite, so oddsmakers clearly expect a Chiefs victory, but the organization historically doesn't win by 14+ points in the preseason. We would have covered this spread just twice in our last 15 preseason games and once in our last 11.
The starters should take the lead and our second-team defense was impressive last week, but this is too large of a spread for a preseason game that we're just hoping to escape unscathed.
