Round 2 (57): Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

Worthy is a frequent mock to the Chiefs and the correlation makes sense. His top trait is one the Chiefs covet and lack this year: speed. Xavier Worthy is more than just speed though he has strong start and stop skills that make him a diverse route runner and a YAC threat. His lack of size (6'1" 170lbs) does draw reason for concern, especially against physical press corners.

How he fits: The Chiefs wide receiver corps isn't just a player away. They will need to take several swings at the position but Worthy brings a vertical element they are truly lacking this year. Worthy is a threat to score any time he touches the ball, with the continued development of Rashee Rice and possible other additions the picture can start to become much clearer for Patrick Mahomes .
