Chiefs inactives list for Week 1 game against Ravens

The inactives lists are out for the first game of the NFL season. Let's take a look at who is sitting in Week 1.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are likely feeling quite a bit different than the last time they faced each other. As competitors in the AFC Championship game approximately 7 months ago, both teams were at or near the end of a grueling several-month stretch in which players were tired and hurt, bruised and some body parts even broken. It was also quite cold.

On Thursday night, the bright lights of a primetime game in late summer will host two very fresh rosters filled with (mostly) healthy players ready and anxious to start a similar journey. For the Chiefs, it's about making NFL history with a third consecutive Super Bowl title. For the Ravens, it's about making the leap from contender to winner.

The good news for both teams is that when it comes to inactive lists, there aren't a pile of bodies to reference. Instead there are healthy scratches to be made because the NFL mandates certain roster limits. And both teams certainly hope to minimize any in-season injuries so early in the year.

For now, each team has a minimal amount of frustrating players missing. Hollywood Brown was a well-known "out" for the Chiefs while rookie linebacker Adisa Isaac was the only affirmed "out" on the Ravens side as well.
