Chiefs fans will enjoy this delusional comment from Courtland Sutton

Sutton should be a comedian because this is gold.

When thinking about every NFL team's dark age, it's a safe bet that the Denver Broncos are currently in theirs. They haven't reached the postseason since the 2015 season when Peyton Manning rode off into the retirement sunset as a Super Bowl champion. Since then, it's been tough sledding for the Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs fans have loved witnessing their pain and suffering.

Before the Chiefs became the dominant force in the AFC West, the Broncos had KC's number, making that 16-game winning streak against them that much sweeter. While that streak ultimately ended this past season, the Broncos still finished with a losing record, cut Russell Wilson despite having to owe him a boatload of money, and reached on Bo Nix with their first-round pick.

Well, Courtland Sutton believes in the Broncos and this is a quote that Chiefs fans are going to have a field day with.

The tweet cuts off the quote but Sutton continued saying "I really do believe that this is going to be the season that Broncos fans are going to be able to celebrate and be happy and proud to be able to walk around and say that they're Denver Broncos fans."

Courtland Sutton is drinking the offseason Kool-Aid

Chiefs fans are used to their AFC West foes getting propped up in some capacity and Sutton is clearly believing the tides are about to turn in Denver.

I'll admit that the Broncos did look better under Sean Payton last season but they still finished with a losing record and now have an inexperienced rookie, Jarrett Stidham, and Zach Wilson as their quarterback options. That shouldn't instill much confidence for any reasonable Broncos fan, but hey, whatever helps them sleep better I guess.

Until another team is actually successful in dethroning the Chiefs in the AFC West, it's their division to lose.
