The model of instability.

Brace yourselves, Chiefs Kingdom, because Ben Standig of The Athletic has the dirt in his latest piece detailing what 31 different NFL agents had to say about teams in the league. Not only are the Kansas City Chiefs considered one of the most stable organizations but the Las Vegas Raiders are considered one of the least stable franchises in the NFL right now.

When surveying 31 agents who is the most stable organization right now, the Eagles and 49ers each led the voting with five votes a piece but the Chiefs were in third with four votes. One agent noted that the Chiefs have to put up with so much good and bad but they continue to win titles. The agent also points out how the team has a Hall of Fame coach, general manager, quarterback, tight end, and organization. High praise and well-deserved high praise considering what we've seen from the Chiefs in recent years.

Now let's pivot to the funny part of this article, which is the Raiders being ranked as one of the least stable franchises in the NFL. Out of 31 responses, the Raiders received seven votes as the least stable organization with only the Panthers garnering more votes (they received nine). The Denver Broncos also received two votes.

One of the agents who spoke about why he picked the Raiders said that Mark Davis makes big changes too frequently, discussing how he hired Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler only to fire them less than two years later. The killer quote here: "Organizations start at the top, and Davis doesn’t provide stability.” Ooooh that's got to hurt even if it is true.

Another agent explained their reasoning for picking the Raiders was that while teams like the Cardinals and Commanders appear to be headed in the right direction, Vegas is not. "Vegas keeps making changes and now finds itself without an apparent quarterback of the future orlegitimate starter when it needed one following last season." Again, ouch, Raiders.

Chiefs showered with praise while Raiders get absolutely dunked on

It never gets old to see the Chiefs considered one of the best franchises in the league and they've earned that respect. After not winning a Super Bowl for five decades, the Chiefs have added three to their trophy case over the last five years and don't look to be slowing down.

The Raiders, meanwhile, had to watch the Chiefs win their third Super Bowl during the Patrick Mahomes era in their home stadium and had to deal with them celebrating in their locker room. If that isn't fantastic material for Chiefs fans, I don't know what is.

The agents also weren't shy about pointing out the decisions the Raiders have made in recent years and how they've backfired on them. Mark Davis does make swift changes and then doesn't give those changes time to gel. He's incredibly impatient and Chiefs fans love when he makes those decisions because it puts the Raiders into an even deeper hole.

This is the best possible timeline to live in and Chiefs fans hope it continues forever.
