The New Orleans Saints haven’t played the prettiest two games of the NFL season, but they’re 2-0 nonetheless. The Packers on the other hand looked like they were cruising to 2-0 before the Falcons ran their way into a comeback win. Derek Carr and the Saints offense have been relying on young receivers, so let’s back them with our anytime TD scorer picks for Week 3.

Broncos vs. Chiefs anytime TD picks

  • Noah Gray
  • Rashee Rice
  • Jerick McKinnon

Noah Gray

Travis Kelce is questionable, but even if he does play this is a good bet. If Kelce is out then it presents even more value. Gray has the second most targets of any tight end on the team, clearly the No. 2 to Kelce over Blake Bell and he’s averaging 13.3 yards per reception which means he’s capable of some big plays.

Rashee Rice

Rice is the most heavily targeted wide receiver on the Chiefs and he’s caught two touchdowns this year. He also has eight red zone targets which is the sixth most in the NFL among wide receivers. He’s caught five of those, which is the fifth most red zone receptions of any wideout. That type of volume in this offense means his odds should be a lot closer to even.

Jerick McKinnon

The Broncos defense is the worst in the league and against the Dolphins, they were incredibly susceptible to running back screens in the red zone. That’s what McKinnon does best. He has two targets in the red zone this year and he has caught both and scored both times.

Miami had three touchdown passes to running backs in Week 3 then the Bears threw a touchdown to Khalil Herbert in Week 4. It’s clearly a weakness and one Andy Reid will be happy to exploit.
