Bills-Jaguars among best non-Chiefs matchups to watch in Week 5
By Grant Tuttle
3. Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Rams
Game Time: Sunday, October 8, 3:05 PM CT
Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook: Eagles (-4)
TV: Fox/NFL Sunday Ticket
The Eagles are, as they say, "flying high." Even though being undefeated to this point in the season has not been easy, they have been playing great football. Certainly, the case could still be made that Philadelphia's offensive line is the best unit in football. With dominance in the trenches, it's extremely difficult to pick against them.
Los Angeles has been a team of ups and downs. They have leaned on youngsters and they have done better than anyone could have expected to this point in the season. With that being said, it is difficult to predict the ups and downs that a team like this may have. Against the Eagles, they will need to play their best game.
The bottom line: While the Rams are a nice story that people can enjoy watching on a weekly basis, it is a lot to ask of them to beat the Eagles. They are not going to win this game unless they have an immaculate game plan. They have a chance, but it seems slim. Give me Philadelphia in a game where the score is not indicative of what a blowout it really was.
Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles: 30 Los Angeles Rams: 20
