Bills-Jaguars among best non-Chiefs matchups to watch in Week 5

2. Dallas Cowboys @ San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco is entering this matchup as one of two undefeated teams in the NFL. To this point in the season, no one looks as though they can contain the 49ers' offensive playmakers. Christian McCaffrey is playing some of the best ball of his career, which is saying something. With four touchdowns last week, he freed up Brandon Aiyuk to also have a big game on play-action. So far, the 49ers have moved the ball with ease. Now, they meet a very talented defense.
The Cowboys enter this one as the underdog. After unexpectedly dropping a game to the lowly Arizona Cardinals, they shaped up last week and torched the Patriots. The question will now be, "Are they ready for an offense like this?" In order for Dak to succeed in the offense, he must have a defense that is prepared to go toe-to-toe with San Francisco's potent offense.
The bottom line: In order for Dallas to win, they will need a big showing from several players along the defense. Micah Parsons will need to prove that he is worth the hype. This one is, as they say, for keeps. Like our first matchup, this very well could be a playoff game. It could honestly be the NFC Championship. I think that Dallas is overmatched. At this point in the season, the Cowboys seem like one of the teams that is "more bark than bite." While you could certainly question Brock Purdy, you cannot question the insane talent that they have on both sides of the ball.
Prediction: Dallas Cowboys: 23 San Francisco 49ers: 35
