Betting expert reveals sneaky good total bet for Chiefs vs. Jets on Sunday Night Football

BetSided NFL betting expert Iain MacMillan thinks the Chiefs will struggle to cover, but won't struggle to stop Zach Wilson on Sunday Night Football.

Taylor Swift will be in attendance at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night. I’m not sure how much football Taylor watches, but even she will be able to tell that Zach Wilson isn’t very good at it. She got to see the Kansas City Chiefs blowout the Bears last week and many people think this game could be similar. Not BetSided NFL betting expert Iain MacMillan.

MacMillan picks every game of the season in his weekly “Road to 272” and he’s predicting a much tougher game for the Kansas City offense and Travis Kelce. MacMillan isn't’ backing the Chiefs, but he is trusting their defense by taking the under.

Kansas City’s offense isn’t the story for the first time since Patrick Mahomes first took over as quarterback. Instead, it is their defense, and BetSided NFL betting expert Iain MacMillan thinks it is a very very good one.

“The Chiefs might just have the best defense they've had in almost a decade, and the Jets defense continues to be one of the better units in the league. That's why I'm not going to rush to lay 10 points on the Chiefs. While the Jets offense has been horrid, their defense might just be good enough to keep the score to a single-digit deficit.”

The Jets defense is very good too and that’ll make it tough for Kelce and Mahomes to cover. What won’t be hard is stopping Zach Wilson.

“Even if the Chiefs offense does get the better of the Jets defense, New York's offense is so bad that it might not matter. The Jets are 31st in yards per play and 32nd in third down conversion rate, getting a first down on just 21.62% of third down opportunities.”

Bet with MacMillan and take the under on Sunday Night Football.
