Chiefs vs. Vikings prop bets

  • Patrick Mahomes OVER 285.5 rushing yards (-114)
  • Rashee Rice OVER 32.5 receiving yards (-114)
  • Kirk Cousins UNDER 293.5 passing yards (-115)

Patrick Mahomes OVER 285.5 rushing yards (-114)

Patrick Mahomes is averaging just 251.5 passing yards per game, the lowest in his NFL career, but I expect him to have a coming out party against the Vikings this week. Minnesota's secondary has struggled this season, allowing 6.8 yards per pass attempt, which ranks 21st in the NFL.

Look for him to have a big game in Minneapolis.

Rashee Rice OVER 32.5 receiving yards (-114)

I'm going to continue to bet on Rashee Rice props until oddsmakers correctly adjust his numbers. He is leading all wideouts on the Chiefs in both targets (19) and receptions (13) and is now averaging 35 receiving yards per game. Despite that, oddsmakers are still setting his receiving total in the low 30's.

Outside of Travis Kelce, Rice is establishing himself as arguably the next most important pass-catcher on the team. I think he once again hits the OVER on this number.

Kirk Cousins UNDER 293.5 passing yards (-115)

The Chiefs defense, specifically their secondary, has been one of the best in the NFL this season. Through the first four weeks, they rank fifth in the NFL in opponent yards per pass attempt, giving up just 5.5 yards per throw. They're also giving up just 190.5 passing yards per game, more than 100 yards less than Kirk Cousins' set total for this game.

This total is set at an extremely high number and I don't think Cousins can surpass it in this matchup. Give me the UNDER.
