Update: B.J. Hill has been downgraded to out.

The Cincinnati Bengals have to be pleased with the scoreboard at the current moment with a 13-10 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs, but they'll be dealing with some injury concerns going forward with the news that defensive tackle B.J. Hill is back in the team's locker room.

Hill went down in the second quarter and is questionable to return.

An already depleted roster spot takes another hit for the Bengals with the loss of B.J. Hill to the locker room.

The Bengals came into the season with significant concerns in the heart of the defensive line after losing D.J. Reader in the offseason. The team made Kris Jenkins out of Michigan their second-round pick in teh 2024 NFL Draft, but Jenkins has been dealing with an injury himself and was designated as "out" before the game after having missed practice all week long.

Hill came into the game dealing with a knee injury that had limited him on Wednesday in practice. However, he was a full participant on Thursday and Friday and came into the game without any injury designation at all.

The Bengals signed free agent Sheldon Richardson to help anchor the interior and he's still available and now they'll ask Jay Tufele for more with Hill on the sidelines. The Chiefs will certainly look to take advantage with the ground game and a store interior core on their side of the trenches with Creed Humphrey, Joe Thuney, and Trey Smith.
