The Kansas City Chiefs are heavily favored in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears, which means we should see them put up plenty of points against one of the league’s worst defenses.

The question is: Who will hit paydirt in Week 3?

Luckily, I have three picks that I like – including one Bears player – to find the end zone this week.

Best anytime touchdown scorer picks for Bears vs. Chiefs

  • Travis Kelce (-140)
  • Marquez Valdes-Scantling (+235)
  • Justin Fields (+155)

Travis Kelce anytime touchdown scorer

Despite missing Week 1 with a knee injury, Travis Kelce was his usual self in the red zone Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, finding the end zone despite making just four catches on the afternoon.

Now, he’s got a whole week to rest up to face the Chicago Bears, who are allowing the third most yards per play in the NFL.

I expect this to be a blowout for the Chiefs, and Kelce is easily the most likely member of the team to find the end zone. I’ll gladly take him at -140 to score this week.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling anytime touchdown scorer

Picking a scorer from the Chiefs’ receiving corps right now is like throwing a dart at a dart board blindfolded.

The team doesn't have a featured No. 1 wideout, but I think there could be some value in Marquez Valdes-Scantling at +235.

MVS has two catches in each of his first two games this season, seeing three targets in Week 2. The thing I like is the uptick in snaps for MVS. He played just 63 percent of the team’s snaps in Week 1, but in Week 2 that number jumped to 82 percent.

Could that be due to other receivers (Kadarius Toney) struggling with drops? Maybe.

MVS can take the top off of a defense, so he’s always a threat with Patrick Mahomes under center. I don’t mind a dart throw on him in Week 3.

Justin Fields anytime touchdown scorer

I don’t really love any of the Bears players to find the end zone this week, especially since Kansas City didn’t give up a touchdown against Jacksonville in Week 2.

However, Justin Fields is always a threat with his legs, rushing 13 times for 62 yards and a score this season. Last season, Fields had eight rushing scores and led the league in yards per attempt.

I think if Kansas City gets up big, which it likely will, it could open things up for Fields in the ground game if the team simply drops back and plays prevent defense late in the game. I’ll take a shot on him to punch one in on the ground as the Bears’ best offensive weapon.
