In the opening game, the Kansas City Chiefs lost a heartbreaker to the Detroit Lions. The Las Vegas Raiders beat the Denver Broncos in a battle of teams that aren't very good. The Los Angeles Chargers fell to the Dolphins after being lit up by Tyreek Hill.
Although the Chiefs lost their season opener, they're still the favorites in the AFC West. Neither the Raiders nor the Broncos will be a threat to the Chiefs in the divisional race. The Chargers also won't be a threat if their defense continues to get lit up.
According to TeamRankings.com, the Chiefs are still the favorites to win the division at 54.5%. They're followed by the Chargers at 24.5%, the Raiders at 12.3%, and the Broncos at 8.7%.
