2. Convert in the Red Zone
For the sake of how the Chiefs have played this year, failure to score touchdowns in the red zone might as well be turnovers. Over the course of the season, they've been pretty average at converting red zone appearances into touchdowns at 17th in the NFL (51.61%). On the road, they're 29th at just 35.71%.
Averaging a 50 percent success rate in the red zone is simply not going to cut it in this game. Superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey returned to action last week and Miami's defense is very talented, so Kansas City might not get as many opportunities inside the 20 as they would in a normal game.
Fortunately, the Dolphins' red zone defense has been even worse than the Chiefs' red zone offense. Miami allows a touchdown on 65.57% of red zone trips, 28th in the NFL. Though the return of Jalen Ramsey might make that number a tiny bit misleading.
As much as my fantasy team loves Harrison Butker, this cannot be a game where Andy Reid decides to send him out on 4th-and-2 at the 15-yard line or 4th-and-goal at the 4-yard line. As many teams have learned in the past against the Chiefs, it can pay to be a little more aggressive the closer you get to the end zone.
