Antonio Gibson, Running Back

After three memorable seasons, it appears that Jerick McKinnon's time in Kansas City is coming to an end. If the Chiefs want to replace him, Antonio Gibson of Washington would be perfect.

Gibson has the flexibility within the running back position to be the perfect successor to McKinnon. He's solid in pass protection and more than can contribute as a receiver. Although he's not the most dominant runner, he doesn't need to be with Isiah Pacheco on the team.

One concern with Gibson is fumbles. He's fumbled 13 times since entering the NFL in 2020 and that might be an issue for Andy Reid.

Given how the NFL doesn't seem to value the running back position and how stars Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, and Derrick Henry are slated to be on the market, that should push Gibson's price down to a point where Kansas City would be comfortable pulling the trigger.
