Sorry, NFL, but these Chiefs aren't fading anytime soon.

3. Andy Reid is still having fun

If you ask Mike Florio, Andy Reid is already somewhere playing shuffleboard and reading Master & Commander on some Royal Caribbean ship for the rest of his life. However, if you ask the man himself, the Kansas City Chiefs head coach will tell you that he's not planning on retiring anytime soon and that you can set such notions aside.

For some reason, the Chiefs head coach is facing louder rumors than ever about his future employment plans, but there's no reason for him to set things aside (or to lie about them when asked).

When asked about retiring, Reid has denied the whole thing, although it's easy to feel like maybe this could be it, in a way. If he goes out on top, it only makes his genius look better. Plus, we're pretty sure he's a "leave it better than I found it" guy and handing off Patrick Mahomes in his prime to Matt Nagy would be the ultimate gift.

But honestly: if you have Mahomes running your offense and you're within striking distance of every NFL head coaching record ever, don't you go for it? Reid sounds like he's certainly more ready for that than a hammock somewhere.
