3. Don't allow Keenan Allen to wreck the game

Long-time Chargers wide receiver is currently in the middle of one of the best seasons of his career. He's on pace to set career highs in both touchdowns and receiving yards and is well on his way to the sixth Pro Bowl of his career.

Heading into the season, the strength of the Chargers offense was supposed to be their stacked wide receiver room. Allen has lived up to the hype, but Mike Williams suffered a season-ending injury and Quentin Johnston has been very inefficient. Josh Palmer has been serviceable but Keenan Allen is the only reliable player at wide receiver for Los Angeles. Gerald Everett and Donald Parham are both decent, but neither will scare a defense as good as Kansas City's. Austin Ekeler is one of the best running backs in the passing game, but Allen is more of a threat.

If I were Steve Spagnuolo, I would do everything in my power to ensure that Keenan Allen does not tear up the field. He's the only reliable full-time pass-catcher in Los Angeles, but he's also one of the better receiving weapons in all of football. He has the potential to be a game-wrecker and the Chiefs cannot allow that to happen.

If the Kansas City defense can limit Keenan Allen and prevent him from having a monster game, the odds of the Chargers lighting up the scoreboard will be much lower.
