Super Bowl 58 key players to watch
Kansas City Chiefs
Isiah Pacheco: Believe it or not, Isiah Pacheco may be the most important players on the Chiefs offense on Sunday. The 49ers have struggled to stop the run at times this season, ranking 21st in the NFL in opponent yards per carry. The Chiefs may find success running the football with Pacheco early and often in this game.
San Francisco 49ers
Brock Purdy: At some point in this game, the 49ers are going to have to throw the football against this stout Chiefs secondary. Brock Purdy has gotten off to slow starts in the 49ers' two playoff games so far. He can't afford to do the same against the Chiefs on Sunday.
Super Bowl 58 prediction and pick
The best bet to place on this game isn't on a side, but on the UNDER instead.
This year's version of the Chiefs is unlike previous iterations. They thrive when they protect the football, play smart offensively, and let their defense shut down their opponents. That reflects in their UNDER record this season, which has gone 16-4 through their 20 games played in the regular season and playoffs.
Let's also note that these two defenses are two of the top three scoring defenses in the NFL and allow just a combined 35.2 points per game, which is well under the set total of 47.5.
It may not be exciting to root for an UNDER, but if you want to make money betting on this game, it's the correct wager to make.
Pick: UNDER 47.5
