Caleb Huntley, free agent

Caleb Huntley is a name that fantasy football enthusiasts will remember as a total surprise for the Atlanta Falcons a year ago. The former undrafted free agent out of Ball State turned in a productive half-season or so for the Falcons in the wake of some injuries only to succumb to a major injury himself after tearing his Achilles in December to end his season prematurely.

These days, Huntley, who is only 24 years old, is a free agent. Because he was still working on his recovery from an Achilles injury, Huntley was released by the Falcons, who invested in Bijan Robinson and already had Tyler Allgeier, back in July after the team placed him on the Physically Unable to Perform list. That allowed Huntley to continue to get better on his own and then allowed him to sign with a team once healthy.

Given that Huntley put up significant production at Ball State and averaged a healthy 4.8 yards/carry average on 76 rushes for the Falcons a year ago, it would make sense for the Chiefs to at least check in on Huntley to see how he's coming along. If and when he's ready, he could make a great addition to some team's backfield as a productive rotational player motivated to prove his ability to play once more in the National Football League.
