Raiders replacing Josh Jacobs with Alexander Mattison

We saw a game of running back musical chairs take place this offseason with the Raiders being a participant in the game. After Las Vegas had some contract drama with Josh Jacobs last offseason, he played on his fifth-year option and had a decent season with over 800 rushing yards in 13 starts.

This offseason, however, the Raiders weren't willing to pay Jacobs so he left for Green Bay. The Raiders decided to replace him with Alexander Mattison, who played for the Vikings as a backup running back.

In 16 games for Minnesota last season, Mattison rushed for 700 yards exactly but didn't have a single rushing touchdown. That's who the Raiders brought in to replace Jacobs. Their plan at running back probably includes spending a draft pick at the position but it's funny to picture Vegas rolling Mattison and Zamir White, who had 451 rushing yards and one touchdown last season, as their only options at the position.
