This could be a bit of a cop out since it's not zeroing in on one player but rather a group of them. That being said, the Chiefs run defense DOES have to play better on Sunday or the Chiefs are going to be in a tough spot.
For the most part, the Chiefs defense has been fantastic this season. It's easily the best defense that Patrick Mahomes has had since he's been in Kansas City but like most units, it has a weakness. The weakness is stopping the run, especially without Derrick Nnadi.
Last week against the Bills, the Chiefs defense got shredded on the ground, surrendering 182 rushing yards. Even though the Bills continued to run the ball, the Chiefs defense still was clueless as to how to stop it despite knowing it was coming.
The defense finally started to get something going in the fourth quarter, holding the Bills offense to just five yards before they went on that long drive before the missed field goal. The Ravens rushing attack is going to be even more lethal than the Bills' so if the Chiefs defense struggled to contain Buffalo's run game, it might be tough sledding against Baltimore's.
